What is Narra

Narra is a voice-first storytelling app. You record a story that can be anywhere from 60 seconds to 5 minutes. You have to record it right then and there — there’s no option to upload anything, as we don’t want any of your AI slop.

Your story could be anything from a funny date fail, to horror, to something you want to pass along to your family.

Other people can listen to your stories like they do audiobooks. And guess what — you can only respond using your voice.

Why we’re building it

I mean, who doesn’t love a good story?

But in all seriousness, we wanted something that is fun and human — something that takes away the pressures of creating video content when you want to share a story, and adds some spontaneity to sharing something interesting.

We hope we can create some fun communities out of this and keep you all entertained.

Who it’s for

Literally anyone.

And we don’t want to limit you to a genre.
